You people often seem to have this problem.....

Somebody stated that Schumacher was the greatest driver ever.

You objected, and stated that Senna And Villeneuve were more exciting.

1) " excitement " is an individual perception

2) " exciting " =/= great

Excitement, humility, popularity, are not attributes that equate to greatness.

Success/achievement, are all that counts, unfortunately.

No, read my post again. I said Senna was the best. Then I said that Villeneuve was one of the most exciting. Two separate statements. Typical of Floyd fans, very poor reading comprehension skills. Not surprising, considering who you admire so greatly.

There are many drivers I would put above Shumacher ... Fangio, Stewart, Moss, Lauda and others. But they are all from an earlier era of F-1 when the driver was much more important than he has been since 1995 or so as the cars became more sophisticated and computer controlled.

Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton says he can see something of himself in Manny Pacquiao, even if the Filipino star lost the 'Fight of the Century' last weekend.

The Mercedes driver had a ringside seat at the welterweight's title fight in Las Vegas with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and surprisingly identified more with the beaten boxer than the winner.

"When I was watching the fight, I felt Pacquaio won. He was the attacking one," Hamilton told reporters at the Spanish Grand Prix on Thursday.

Hamilton just became a 2-time world champion and is currently leading the F1 championship.

He said why he identified with Pacquiao in the article, because he is attacking.

Don't hit em with the stats now... or the fact that Floyd used the same shoulder excuse regarding his less than overwhelming performance in that fight.

I'd respect Pac more if he admitted to losing, but I also think Floyd is buggin for acting like he didn't pull the same **** before. Both of these guys have been disappointing in my view.

It absolutely is, I've spoken to casuals who watched it they don't get why the guy running is given the decision. They think it was fixed
