1) " excitement " is an individual perception

2) " exciting " =/= great

Excitement, humility, popularity, are not attributes that equate to greatness.

Nope. He is great but the honor of GREATEST goes to senna. If you ever seen any of his races or actually followed formula one racing and its history you'd know this too. He was a speed demon, dominant, very exciting to watch, and his skill completely unmatched. Rain or shine he could put on the performance for the ages.
