broner needs a new trainer and he needs to stop acting like hes floyd maywethar imo he is gifted with OFFENSIVE TALENT and he needs to use his stremgnth to win fights not his defense or counter punching,

he needs a offensive minded trainer imo because hes already athletically gifted enough to be naturally defensive, wheres he could learn to throw more impactful punches.he has the opportunity to become a more skilled version of PRIME kirkalnd but instead he wastes his prime years thinking hes sweet pea or floyd ,,sure hes not as defensive as these guys but hes way stronger!

Broner needs to get down to 135-140...but by the looks of his dad, that ship may have sailed

He has no business vs any legit guy from welter, catchweight or not

I had to re-watch how Brook fought Porter again and it was night and day compared to Broner's attempt.

I don't care how many so-called cans Brook has fought he does have very good skills.

Much better distance control. Every time Porter tried to close distance he caught a jab or a lead right hand. And he controlled Porter by moving his head or smothering him after he landed.

All Broner did was try to step back and connect with his hook but Porter was able to get under it and beat his ass inside.

I don't even recall Broner using his right hand that much in this fight at all.

Despite this fight, Broner is still an exciting fighter when he decides to be aggressive. Broner will always deliver a good fight with boxer-punchers or boxers.

Brawlers and swarmers have found success when they don't let Broner think out his attack since Broner can't seem to think steps ahead. He's a reactive fighter but when his opponent delivers too much for him to analyze he gets frozen and plays some half-assed counter punching role.

Broner is best when he creates openings with his offense, combinations. He's worse at trying to find defensive holes.

As others may have noted, AB wasn't using his right much probably due to a training injury or something.

I think he would've fared better had he landed with his right as much as he did with his left.

Seems like he was content to land the hook more than anything else.

Porter deserved the win due to his activity.

                      .
