Broner is basically looking like a poor mans derrick gainer. His little post fight comments "ill take his girl out too" being disrespectful post fight, literally running in the 10th when the fight is on the line. As a top level fighter hes finished, but overall, i would like to see him gone from the sport period. That was a pathetic performence overall, i have never been a fan and his antics look pathetic at this point.

I've been thinking he needs a new trainer for awhile now. He is way too stiff from the hips down. He has no idea how to get up on his toes and pop a jab. All he does is fight on reflex. Or he could get someone that is going to make him use his speed and get off first on people. John David Jackson or Roach go get 'em.

First thing he needs to do is take his ass back to 140 and stay there and work on stuff. This standing there waiting to catch people coming in or counter is all he has. He needs to add more or he is done.

The amount of delusion on this forum is laughable. Losing and getting beat are two TOTALLY different things.
For example, Canelo & Maidana lost to Floyd BUT they weren't awful/embarrassed/battered,etc..., they just simply lost to the better man.
That's what happened tonight. I never once felt that Broner was in trouble.
The only thing i took away from this fight was that Broner needs a new more offensive minded trainer.

Yes they are different but you're wrong about Canelo not being awful and getting embarrassed by Floyd. Similarly, Broner didn't get battered but he looked awful.

He just aint that good when he's fighting guys around his size and not bullying lightweights. Sadly for Broner he isn't 21-22 anymore and he cant boil down to those weights and bully guys.

That's all there is too it. He's just not good enough to compete at the top level and there's no shame in that because not everybody can be a top fighter. I'm sure he'll get plenty of good fights and might get some decent wins but he just cant cut it at the top. It is what it is.

He doesn't know when to throw his hook, he doesn't know how to use his jab, he's shown he can fight inside but resorted to clinching, he's shown he has decent footwork but uses a lot of wasted movement...the list goes on.

Just an example of a boxer with no identity playing the role of a counter puncher.

Good points but disagree strongly with the bolded. His footwork is terrible.
