Geale is a good dude, but I have to root for Cotto in this one. Cotto's one of my favorite fighters, and I really want to see Canelo/Cotto.

Cotto was 160lbs 30 days before the Martinez fight. I don't see how 164 is shocking.

Observation: Cotto was 1 pound over the weight for that fight, now it's his opponent who's 1 pound over.

Geale must be a pretty small MW, he's clearly not draining himself to make 160, he could easily fit at 154... makes me respect him as a fighter a bit more

164 ? No way Cotto is a blown up Welterweight. He can't make 147 anymore.

At least Cotto is fighting middleweights (despite the CW, sadly). Deserves some respect

He was always a thick guy. He had great difficulty at 147. That's why after the 145 pac fight Cotto left tha division forever. That likely killed him trying to shave another two pounds when he was staving to make 147
