And when GBP was the go-to, fee based promoter for Haymon, GBP has no problems with Haymon being their meal ticket nor any concern for the 'best interest of the fighter' based on that setup.

DiBella is angry that he was basically called a puppet and a sham promoter...which he is now. But for him, its not bad because there is no way he can lose money with Haymon. He's getting paid a flat fee. In the traditional set up a smaller promoter like DiBella runs risk of losing a lot of money on events.

Exactly.. and Dibella still runs his own shows as well (separate from Haymon) like he always has. The weekend of the Garcia/ Peterson fight he also promoted his own show on ShoBox the night before. And he still has his Broadway boxing series. I'm sure DiBella couldn't be happier with the Haymon/ GB split. lol I never rooted against Oscar, but I felt he took a big chance with cutting ties with Haymon just for the fact that Haymon brought so many shows to GB and even though they weren't all GB fighters your company is still making money. Your staff is still out there working those shows and everyone is getting paid. I don't have dog in this fight but it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
