What happens if DLH wins? Does that legitimise DiBella as a puppet then?

          That's kind of DiBella's point.
But it's a dumb point because he is not arguing the validity of the lawsuit. Even going as far to saying he hasn't read it. And then blabbing about the spirit of the Ali Act but doesn't answer the real question is whether or not Haymon is acting as a de facto promoter which is in violation of the act. If he's a manager he can't also be a promoter which we all know he is. Lou knows damn well he isn't promoting these fights Haymon is. Haymon is calling the shots telling him where, when and paying him a stooge flat fee to circumvent the rules.

The rest is just Lou spouting off that Golden Boy are hypocrites because they used to work with Haymon which is 1) irrelevant to the lawsuit. 2) ignores the fact that what he is claiming went on was under Richard Schaefer's reign and is the reason for Oscar kicking him out and suing him. Schaefer's questionable relationship with Haymon is what created the beef with Oscar and Schaefer in the first place. So Oscar's response is simple when I found out that Schaefer was basically just working for Haymon I did something about it and a lawsuit and huge settlement Haymon had to pay to prove he had a case.

For Golden Boys sake, they better win. Cause after this lawsuit, the few promoters that Oscar might have been able to work with will be reduced even more.

Whatever the amount ended up being, it must not have been enough because Oscar is trying to tap the well again within six months. lol
It's been well reported and leaked by many reputable sources that Oscar's settlement from the haymon lawsuit last year was atleast 8 figures. And now you sound foolish on one side of your mouth you are saying you see listen to Lou he knows what he's talking about but then when even Lou is quoted as saying "Oscar and Golden, just got paid a huge settlement to release all their fighters" you are denying that to be the case? Which one is it does Lou know what he's talking or doesn't he? lol

And regardless how much money Oscar already got out of Haymon this is a totally different lawsuit. First one was that schaefer wasn't fulfilling his CEO duties by not working with Golden Boy's best interest at hand. Which Oscar won and got paid for. Now he's suing saying Haymon is double dipping and working as a manager and promoter. He also has a separate lawsuit again Haymon over jhonny gonzalez. And the next lawsuit which is coming will be over Amir Khan who Golden Boy says owes them one more fight. And his name is still listed on Golden Boy's website as one of their fighters for a reason. Just like Haymon had to pay Arum for Chavez Jr.

I have no problem if Golden Boy has 10 lawsuits against Haymon. Clearly there is some shady things with this guy and he keeps have to pay settlements so he must be doing illegal things. Why not keep suing? If Haymon is doing nothing wrong then these would be thrown out of court. Instead they aren't and he is paying settlements left and right. It's just funny you and others saying Oscar has no case are the same Haymon apologists that said Oscar had no case last year when he sued yet he got paid. I said it then and I'll say it again Oscar is rich and has some of the best lawyers in the country and he is not throwing around these lawsuits if he has no case.

Totally agree as he's basically taking a BIG swipe at others who are working with or under Haymon and PBC.

Pretty sure GBP would be Andre Dirrell & Kathy Duva would be Jermain Taylor.
