Dibella just dropped that ether
This lawsuit isn't meant to help the sport or the fighters it's just a bunch of men acting like women , angry that they were once on top of the mountain and in less then a year have fallen And have to rely on HBO to remain somewhat relevant
Again I will say Osacar is an embarrassment to boxing and anyone co-signing him is a fool. His feminine behaviour has been put into over drive the last couple months and him thinking with his v.agin.a will mean the death of GB sooner rather then later.
Not going to lie , Bernard is my favorite active boxer but him jumping in on this foolishness is putting a bad taste in my mouth.
What did you expect Hopkins to do in the situation?Comment

People saying this lawsuit won't go nowhere said the same thing last year when Oscar sued and he forced Haymon to pay 10mil. Oscar has some of the best lawyers in the country. And again Lou only point is that Golden Boy When run by the snake Schaefer allowed Haymon to control them. Well duh that's why Oscar sued him and ran him out his company. But what does that have to do with the lawsuit and the question of whether AL is violating the Ali Act? Haymon likely have to pay just like he did last time He got sued by Oscar.Comment

The shareholders of Golden Boy Promotions are Oscar De La Hoya (the rest of it, unless Bernard picked up some of Schaefer's old stake) and Bernard Hopkins(rumored at 8%). No financial backers, no AEG, nothing. Just him and Oscar.
What did you expect Hopkins to do in the situation?
I get that Hopkins had limited options and GB seemed like the best one
Ideally I'd want Hopkins to shut the f.u.ck up even if he agrees ( don't see how he can) with the lawsuit which is doo-doo and isn't about the fighters or the sport and just appears like a jealous cash grab they might as well hired Gloria Allred for this case.
GB is just making dumb moves IMO fuelled by emotions and I hate seeing Bernard partake in this:Comment

I like Lou. But lets not pretend that he can be objective on this one.Comment

Dude I don't know if you telling the truth, but I've always thought that Sergio Martinez was gay! He does have some tendencies! But I was also thinking that he was from a different country and things are differentComment

Dibella's position seems to be that the Ali Act was meant to bar promoters from controlling managers (the manager is the only party with a fiduciary responsibility to the fighter, a bar that doesn't exist with the promoter), full stop. Haymon, acting in the fiduciary interest of the fighters that he works with and manages, could then decide to work with whatever promoters on a case-by-case basis.
For years, Haymon decided to use Golden Boy Promotions for nearly all of the fights for his managed clients, which had no implication on the Ali Act; rather than solely using Golden Boy, Haymon has now decided to utilize a handful of different companies, no longer working with Golden Boy, still without any impact on the Ali Act, again drafted to bar promoters from controlling managers (the only actual parties with fiduciary responsibilities to the fighters).
No one can argue that PBC had a "financial interest" in the Thurman-Guerrero event, and every other PBC event. That "financial interest" by a manager (which Haymon is) is specifically prohibited and labeled as "unlawful" in the Ali Act.
I cant understand why this is so hard for some to understand. I guess its easier to go full ****** and post stuff like "oh snap dibella went ether doe" or whatever........Comment
