Comments Thread For: Photos: Geale Working Hard For Miguel Cotto Clash

NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA - Former Two-Time World Champion, Daniel Geale (31-3, 16 KO's) is finalizing his last days of training in Australia as he prepares for his upcoming June 6 world championship bout against WBC and Ring Magazine Middleweight World Champion Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO's) which will be televised live on HBO from Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

"Training camp has started off on the right track," said Daniel Geale. "I'm super focused on Miguel Cotto and we have a nice game plan were working on. My countrymen have shown a tremendous amount of support since I came back from the press conference. I'm getting some good work with some mates here at home and my body feels good. I'll be leaving to start training in the United States shortly and it's something I'm looking forward too. Cotto is a great champion, but I'm coming to win and bring that belt home to Australia." I don't think he'll smash Cotto, but he may be able to stick and move for 12 rounds and get the decision. I think this is a tough match-up for Cotto.

Trout handled Cotto with ease, so by rights Geale should do even better – and he's nowhere near as chinny. War Geale!

It could happen. Roach has been so invested in helping Pacquiao that he has had no time to help Cotto. Cotto's fight is just 30 days away. I think Geale might knock him out.

no he didn't it was a close fight trout ran and hugged everytime cotto hit him and trout is bigger so if cotto can back up these bigger fighters he will beat geale with body punches plus cotto is more active and accurate then geale and the harder puncher
