Winky - Tito Predictions!

tito by ko in the middle rounds, maybe in the 8th or 9th. the only guy who could beat tito is hopkins because he's stronger than him. tito will break winky's defense and eat him alive.

Lets hear it. But please....back up your pcik with some opinions and data. I hate Tito...but I just dont see Winky being able to back Tito up, and thats how Wright wins fights. Whoever establishes the forward momentum takes this one.

Wright won't hurt Tito cause he sustained shots from mayorga that were bigger than any punch winky could land. But Tito will hurt winky at some point...even if he hits the forearms a lot in the 1st rounds, he will eventually make him lower his guard and TKO him.

yeap, i'm with the droves of other posters on this thread. winky'll keep those hands pasted to his face and body the whole night and when he opens up he'll just close right back up, but tito's persistance'll keep him on wink and put him out late in the fight. i hope wink makes it to the final bell cuz i kinda like him, hes getting a good payday, basically giving up his belts and moving up in weight. i hope the dude doesn't get hurt.

Winky Wright is a tough fighter in my opinion and his style can be tricky to the above average fight but Tito is exceptional. The way he dismantled Mayorga after that layoff was frightening. I think Tito will be the first man to stop Winky. I respect Winky as a fighter alot as he is tough and hasn't earned the respect he should have in his career at this stage.

This is a no-win situation for Tito. If he wins he will be acused of beating up smaller fighters moving up in weight; if he loses he lost to a Jr. Middleweight. While I think he'll win, I don't think people will give Winky the credit of being a great fighter after he gets KOd by Tito. Oh, yeah, that's my prediction because I don't think Winky can take Trinidad's power for 12 rounds.

Tito by KO for sure. He won't get tripped up like Mosley did against southpaw Wright. Plus if Mayorga couldn't stun Tito then Winky doesn't have a chance.

The only way to beat Tito is to constantly circle him and counter. You can NEVER let tito's feet stay planted. The younger winky would circle tito and not give tito any chances to unload his power shots. The winky of today may let his pride betray him. I think winky will sit infront of Tito and try to slip his powershots on the inside. He will try to make an example out of Tito because in his mind Tito cant hurt him. He will be wrong, Tito's power and stamina is unreal, he will hurt winky, and probably knock him out.

Now if winkys pride doesnt get the better of him, he will circle and box tito, use the blueprint that hop/dlh set up for him. He has a chance at a decision that way.

As for your arguement hopkins stayed with oscars plan and circled and countered all night, he didnt run at the end and look at the result of that fight!

Trinidad before was overwelmed at getting a KO, he even retired, cause of his own fans. Now, he would get back to boxing, like he did with Campas
(hopefully). I think he needed, fresh air.
