When you analyze and look at each round won by Floyd, I think what many people are trying to say is that Floyd didn't win the round by blowout. It was won by just a few more landed scoring punches than Pac. Basically most rounds Floyd managed to just edge out.

Floyd outscored Pac. Plain and simple.

Pac's power punches had more of an effect on Floyd while Floyd was able to land more scoring although less significant punches on Pac.
Dominated Pac. Not even close. Thats why no one cares for a rematch cause no one saw this close fight you guys on NSB speak of.

yeah i had hopkins beating calzaghe he landed almost all the clean punches. crazy? actually i had pac wining 7-5 would be the most accurate card i could come up with. 6-5-1 even pac would be the second most accurate and 6-6 would be the third most accurate.

this implies that all punches are worth the same. is a left hand that snaps floyd's head back worth the same as a little left hook that barely connects and doesn't even move pacs head? i would say no but floyd fans apparently say yes which is not that surprising. in fact in pac-marquez 3 marquez was landing the much better shots while pac was outpointing him but these same people all thought marquez won. they don't have any credibility. none.

I think you need to re watch the fight. Lots of close rounds.

Floyd was also allowed to do his dirty tricks. Ref did nothing but break them up but the damage was already done! Even with the injury, A hard warning to Floyd would have changed this fight.

                • I've done this kind of thing with a number of fights in the past, including Pacquiao fights, in order to compare with compubox and I have always had quite a big difference with the compubox numbers. Compubox landed punches totals should always be taken with a grain of salt as their margin of error can be quite large. It is the pounches thrown numbers that are more accurate and of greater interest although even those can be misleading when you have boxers who throw lots of jabs solely as range finders, such as Rigo.

Just looking at that round 3 the compubox numbers are definitely skewed but that was still a Mayweather round for me, it was close but still a Mayweather round.

                      5:40 didn't even land. LOL :ANYWORD: .
5:43 was a grazing shot that didn't land flush. Far from a power punch.
6:31 was another shot that grazed and didn't land flush
                      7:18 landed flush
7:47 didn't land either. Pac slipped it.
