Thompson is a solid guy... only losing to Wlad in recent years. It would be great for Wilder to take on a solid opponent for 1st defense. But I wouldn't be surprised if he takes the easy route.

Molina has beaten tony grano & an ancient davarryl Williamson but the rest of his wins are against tomato cans except for his win over Zambano love. arreola crushed him in 1 & he got ko'd by former prospect ashanti Jordan in his pro debut. Molina is a C level at best. This is a pretty bad opponent. Thompson would be more suitable for a voluntary defence. Wilder is clearly waiting for Wlad/fury winner...Comment
