What was Pacquiao supposed to do?

He could have told everyone about the injury, and they could have possibly postponed the fight. But let's be honest here, the same people that are ****ting on him for losing, would still be calling him a scared *****,saying that he was just looking for ways to pull out of the fight.

THIS....
pac camp made a big mistake answering the pre-fight questionnaire..
they are taking medicine during training to ease the pain and inflammation of the injury. they could have the same medicine if only they answered the questionnaire correctly.. thus, the commission denied their request..

Tommy Hearns broke his right hand during the Hagler fight.
Did he complain? Make excuses after?
No, he took his loss like a man and kept it secret so it wouldn't take anything away from Hagler winning.
That is what a real man does.

Not excusing it but it's hardly unprecedented.

the excuse doesnt fly with me, his shoulder looked fine
he may of had an injury but he's exaggerated it
the fact is he was totally outclassed, his footwork was his biggest downfall and his lack of ability to read Floyd
he wudnt beat floyd fighting like that, period
