What was Pacquiao supposed to do?

Keep watching.......
He didn't have to. Floyd wasn't do anything. He was busy but not effective outside of a few single potshots, here and there. Manny landed the more telling blows. He won the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds. As I've stated, go watch the fight again, know it all. He lost the first round, was losing the 2nd until the last 15-20 seconds, then his aggression won him the round.Comment

You can handle a rotator cuff injury without surgery. You can go through physical therapy, medication, rest or an injection. If he were really injured, all he had to do is postpone the fight. Now if there is a rematch and he loses again, the excuse will be that his shoulder wasn't %100, just like the excuse they're using now.Comment

money talks and bull**** walks......i don't care if manny gets dr. dre, dr. doom, or dr. J to make up a fake injury story. even if he was injury so what? who cares? floyd was injured for jlc/hernadez, srl was injured for hearns, ward was injured for froch. there is no version of manny that beats floyd and if floyd beats him you pacf@ggots will come up another excuse.....majority of you pacf@ggots had your excuses ready as soon as the fight was signed, so cry me a river.
Do you not like tangible proof?Comment

The right thing to do is to postpone the fight. But, we can say that very easily because we're just here in the background very free from the stress, pressure and the real gravity of the situation. My guess is pac's camp have thought about this a hundred times but the pressure had built already so much that they just fold and ask pacquiao if he really want to go ahead and fight or not. Of course, a fighter who had a warrior personality will most probably based his decision on his emotion, this is nothing new.Comment

If he had postponed the fight for the surgery, then he would have been out a few months and the fight would be cancelled. If you think the shitstorm surrounding this fight is bad now, what do you think would have happened if the "biggest fight of the century" was cancelled?
What were his options, really?
I'm gonna get banned for this thread but I don't care, It's an honest question.
Peace out if I don't see you guys for a while lol
Disclose that he had a ****ed up shoulder to the NSAC, take the USADA-approved pain medicine, and make a go of it. The treatment, according to talk, was working and the shoulder was getting better.
Why risk your chance to win the fight over being coy about hiding something from your opponent?Comment

His fans and the rest of the world know he didn't put on some master class boxing lesson. He every advantage imaginable and he still looked rather pedestrian and to had be honest his defense was complete trash, relying on clinching and back peddling to stay out of harms way instead of doing what everyone brags about and that's countering.
But there shouldn't be rematch, Floyd no long has the interest or energy to prove he's the better fighter and Manny no longer has the abilities required to bring it out of him. This fight was a big waste of time and proved absolutely nothing.Comment
