Even if it wasn't true? Hypothetically, let's suppose for a second that some evidence comes out that can convince you the injury occurred during training. If so, would you still recommend Pac to say instead that it happened during the fight? And if yes, why is that better?

Personally, I think that he should tell it like it is. If the injury occurred during the fight then say that otherwise say what it is.

Maybe so. I feel like it may be a genuine injury that has been relied on too much as an excuse. I am not saying the injury is reaching for excuse, I am saying their claims to taking an L because of it may be a reach.

If this goes through the courts and evidence is provided, debated and ultimately judged, at least we will find out. I guess what I am trying to say is that this matter is not something down to fans opinion, the facts will soon surface.

If it is resolved as a genuine injury that team pac must pay for damages for etc, then fair enough, we can say that his injury was a factor in the fight. However foolish he may be, it WOULD have been a factor and you can bet your last penny that rematch talk will be all the rage. However, if it is resolved as a non issue by the boards, then it will surface that team pac are BS'ing us as to why they took the L and in that case you could bet your last penny quite a large amount of 'fans' will begin to disperse, along with Manny's stock and pride.

Either way we will find the truth as to why our generations fight ended up being a deflated affair.

This couldn't have been said better. I think all we can really do at this point is let this play out. There is no going back, at some point this issue will be fleshed out completely and then we will know what happened for sure.

If he had thought he checked off YES, why didnt he follow up with the explaination that the question was asking for? They're going to ask that and hes going to have a real ****** look on his face

According to a report by CBS Affiliate KLAS-TV - Manny Pacquiao, Bob Arum, Top Rank Inc., Michael Koncz, Todd Duboef and possible unknown defendants are being named in a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas on Tuesday morning.

The lawsuit, filed on behalf of Staphane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran who live in Clark County, is seeking damages because Pacquiao failed to disclose his shoulder injury before Saturday's fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. They are looking for $5 million in damages.
