Mayweather brought this one on himself. He folded under the barrage of questions from the media about his domestic violence history and he just snapped throwing out this line about his baby mother being drugged up to use as an excuse for what happened. Which is a new wrinkle that we have never heard which adds to her case against him. It's comes off as phony, lame and worst opened himself up to this lawsuit. He was already convicted why add to it by now years later saying she was drugged up? He should of just did the normal excuse athletes do when the F up and say "no comment" or "that's in the past". Trying to defend the indefensible makes him look bad. Sometimes I swear for someone who has made as much money as Mayweather has he can be very insecure. He says I don't care what you say about me but if that were true then why does he spend so much time responding to every single bit of criticism.

It's a petty lawsuit and he'll end up paying but not the full 20mil. But he brought it on himself with his big mouth.

Sounds like a money grab... But on national television he told the world she was on drugs... if that's not true, he clearly defamed her character. However, you have to prove what your financial damages are because of the defamation.

Floyd said he took the plea because he didn't want his kids to deal with a trial. What a saint the man is. He went to jail so his kids wouldn't have to tell a jury that he did nothing wrong? That doesn't really add up.
