His whole team was incompetent
Not making sure with the commission that an injection would be permitted on fight night is nothing sort of ludicrous and gross negligence to the umpteenth degree
They probably did this in fear of commission calling off fight. So basically, they only had money on their mind. And I actually think commision would have let fight Happen.
I understand commision's standpoint. 90 minutes before a fight you want an injection. The commision is thinking of fighter's wellbeing. They don't know how serious this injury is. Last thing they want is manny taking a numbing agent and completely messing up his shoulder during the fight and not even knowing it. They didn't know severity of injury and no doubt would have wanted PAC to throw shots without the numbing agents to see if he could actually fight. And of course mayweather had knowledge of the injury. And it must have given him a huge mental edge.
Also, PAC himself made an emotional and not a well thought out decision
People are dissapointed in the fight
And this fight hurt boxing more than doing any good
And now all this talk is actually taking away from what should have been Mayweather's greatest career win. Now in all reality, Mayweather beat a seriously debilitated fighter 7-5- my scorecard- same scorecard as the guardian in the UK and sports illustrated and yahoo sports in the US.Last edited by jas; 05-05-2015, 04:31 AM.

2 Juan gets accused of using roids because of chest acne...in this fighr Manny had back acne
3-Manny fans go wild about Floyd using Lidocaine (Xylocaine) then complain when Manny isnt allowed to use it before the fight
4-says Floyd used a shoulder injury as an excuse for a close fight with Castillo....then blame a shoulder injury for a wide loss to Floyd
Man you just cant make this up
They called out Floyd for years on forums, calling him scared to fight Manny.
When Floyd signs to fight, schools Manny, and Manny loses, they run for cover to their glass tree house while throwing rocks at a brick house.

How he has any fans after this is just unbelievable.
He invested so much on a Manny "For sure" win, he has has to save face by claiming Manny won with one arm and a "teared" shoulder.
He's still busy driving that tug boat "Denial".

Koncz is a idiot...This shoulder ish is just an excuse for losing so wide!!..if it was close they would've tried the robbery angle...these dudes manipulated the public about Pac's abilities and know how...don't get it twisted, Pac is special but his level of special is a good 2 or 3 levels below Floyd's level of special
Peep this article from usa today!!

Im gonna say a rematch might happen sometime late next year.
If all goes well with Khan against Algieri, then Floyd will fight Khan in September. If that goes well...
Then Floyd will officially retire and take a year off.
I believe in the time Floyd is gone the fight will again build hype.. Especially if Pac gets a fight beforehand and looks good.
Then boom, rematch to get to 50-0 as well as a cashout.

Still, many fans are disgruntled, not just over the fight itself - which was dull by most people's standards - but that Pacquiao may have come into this contest debilitated.
Mike Koncz, the adviser for Pacquiao, was asked if postponing the fight was considered. He told BoxingScene.com:

Roach's parkinsons is worsening and he can barely talk to fighters inbetween rounds, Justin Fortune is recovering from cancer and looks a bit worse for wear, he's not as intelligent as Ariza.
Ariza is right about everything, he was a smart guy who knew his stuff, they worked with a top nutritionist Teri Tom and used modern training methods, Roach got jealous of the attention Ariza was getting so he fired him, Roach is a cancer to team Pac.
Pac got rid of what made their team good, Ariza, Teri Tom, and Floyd brought that goodness to his team and looked better conditioned for it on fight night.
Manny is too loyal and nice he just does what Arum and Roach says like a good little lap dog
He needed to get rid of Roach at least 4 years ago. *** that jealous miserable POS.
