People are saying Mayweather used his reach and kept his distance like it's a bad thing. I guess he should have stayed in the pocket and got busted up like 'Cotto or Margarito. I guess they didn't notice the times when Mayweather was pinned against the ropes and Pacquiao hit nothing but air.

I know it's hard for some of you to grasp the fact that the better man won. No matter how much you try to taint the victory and blame everyone and everything for why it didn't work for your guy. The fighter is over and Mayweather got another "W" in the history books.

          Pacboy is a good sport.

How many times are you going to pick against Floyd before you change to Floydboy?

I'm just glad it's over so everyone can move on, and boxing can begin to rebuild itself because frankly it is dead in the water at the moment, and has almost no credibility amongst casual fans, and I know they're annoying sometimes but they're the fans that bring in the money as there simply isn't enough hardcore boxing fans to be able to sustain events like May-Pac.

From my POV it's been a frustrating few days because I've had to defend this great sport to people who feel cheated because they were expecting a war, when frankly most of the boxing fans I know who follow the sport including myself have been telling people exactly what would happen.

Now it's over it's a big opportunity for a revolution within boxing, I just hope the powers that be don't let it pass them by.

Yeah pretty much my thoughts as well.

Aside from the fight itself and what I thought, people around me who are more casual viewers of the sport than actual fans I could hear them say they were done with boxing and boxing is so damn boring.

I knew that was more because they were pissed that Pac didn't win and because Jr. fought a horribly boring fight as usual.

I guess most of us put too much hopes in that Pac would make it a really exciting fight. The problem is, you need 2 to tango and there was only 1 willing to.

Jr. will never, ever get himself involved in an entertaining fight. No matter what you think about him or people say, at the end of the day he only cares about preserving his undefeated record in any means possible. This sucks for the fans.

You have to admit, Pacquiao should've been more active. When he threw combinations, FLoyd has no answer for them but too switch to a high guard and take it, as it's too easy for him to get caught in the middle of a flury Repeat and rinse for the whole fight, and he could've won on points, or even caught him.

His other problem was that he needed to close the distance more effectively, tuck in his chin when he throws the left.

As far as his shoulder, i don't know. Only Manny and his team know about that, and it seems like it was there, we just dont know to what point did it effect his ability to perform.

We saw the same excuse against May/Castillo, so who knows.
