I guess this means Pacquiao's defense is underrated. Floyd has some good quick hands too though.

That because the Chicken was running / hugging and keeping his distance so much. He was so so scared to get KO, he fought very defensive. 150mil Pathetic showing.

Pretty sure of those 148 landed punches at least half were the pity pat jabs they saw connect on Pacquiao while Floyd was backing away. I mean, this is what's wrong with professional boxing. 3 judges decide a fight for the guy who was backing up all night and flicking jabs. It's as if just because it is Floyd Mayweather fighting he automatically wins whenever a pitiful jab landed. It's not the damned olympics! Also, it's as if whoever fights Floyd will automatically lose a round if they get hit even if the punches don't even faze the fighter. Just look at the Maidana fights. It's ridiculous.

Of course Floyd's performance was nothing special. His fans want to make it seem like he won the fight with ease or dominated it when in fact, he just barely did enough to convince people he won those rounds...all while constantly clinching Pacquiao the whole fight. Ridiculous.

They had a game plan. You or I may not like or agree with their game plan but they tried it. Since it was a close fight, they stuck with it until the end of the fight. If you re-watch the fight, Floyd didn't do much either. A couple of close rounds swinging to Manny could have made it a draw.

BTW - Floyd looked scared and even Sr said so but you don't bring it up. Why?

If they hid Floyd's face somehow and put instead Peterson's face, Manny would have been credited with the win and Peterson would have had several hard warnings and points deducted. Go look at Peterson vs Garcia. The judges gave him no credit for those initial rounds even though Garcia did little.

That right there proves that you didn't understand what Floyd was doing. Those pity pat jabs weren't meant to be damaging punches. They were meant to distract Manny and keep him occupied. Throw away punches. They were used to set up Floyds real punches. Appitizers for the main course which was the right hand. They also kept Manny very defensive. Those pity pat punches did their job. They kept Manny thinking too much and slowed down his offense. They were the main reason why Floyd won.

Manny deserves nothing he was a major let down , Floyd was Floyd doing what he does , Manny was the one that could not do anything and shutdown he needs to go over all the BS he was saying through camp , I dont accept him with I was lying then and now Im telling the truth .

Pure sour g****s from Manny and its pathetic .
Manny hurt Floyd with some soft counters on more than 2 occasions, had him stumbling backwards. Floyd landed some crisp right hands but couldn't even daze pacman. Floyd barely deserved the win because he was the one unwilling to trade and avoiding the fight all night.
