What I love about all of this is that everyone is quick to say Floyd made it a hug and run fight. They blame him. Why not blame Pac for not taking it to Floyd? He deserves the same blame if not more. Pac fought just as cautious as Floyd if not more. Especially all the BS talk Pac and Roach did pre-fight my God! Roach saying Floyds legs are gone over and over again Floyd embarrassed Roach on Saturday!

Don't be mad at Floyd. Floyd was Floyd. Be mad at Pac for not even hurting Floyd. I expected Floyd to have rubber legs at some point during the fight. Never happened.

The only reason the fight was fun is cuz of the hype and fight atmosphere. Other than that, it was your standard boxing match. Not terrible, but decent. Two ATG's in the twilight of their careers.

Emmanuel Burton/Augustus did better against Floyd than Manny.

A know the tards don't know who that is, but that's hilarious when you think about it.

I agree with you. Floyd played his role, I mean that's how he's always been. He limits the action much as possible and is ok with winning a round by landing 1 solid punch as long as he doesn't get hit back.

He doesn't care about action, when he gets his few shots in and he knows he is up in the round he is not going to let you hit him even it means there's going to be no action as long as he wins the round.

When I watched the fight for the first time, live, I thought both guys looked awful. I had Floyd winning 8-4, but I was quite unimpressed with him and even more so with Manny. I chalked it up to their age, and the fact that they're both good fighter who just made each other look bad. I then watched the fight again and I have to say I have the exact same scorecard, but I'm left with a slightly different impression now. Their age definitely showed against what they used to be, but at the same time the fight had a good pace (people count punches and misses, but nobody ticks for the nuances). All in all, neither performance will be memorable against their respective careers, but there was some high level stuff going on. It was a solid fight against two very prominent and accomplished names of this era.

I'm pretty sure he meant you can see Pacquiao be broken down and humiliated bit by bit, round by round.

What I do know is that Pacquiao had the best defense of any fighter Floyd has ever fought, and I know it wasn't a domination, because how do you dominate a fighter you had the hardest time connecting on?
Floyd may not have dominated the Pacman but he sure did win rather easily. Dang he also got paid like $1.2 Million per punch landed. My math sucks so it was something like that.

Oscar larios did better than Floyd too despite losing, he landed more, didn't clinch or lean and run like a b1tch like Floyd did
