It's ridiculous. Even if he had some injury to it, it was nothing as serious as they are trying to say. More like the usual wear and tear every fighter has.
Man, this is exactly right Bo. It's hilarious more people aren't mentioning it because apart from a few good lefts, his right hook was by far his most used punch and he landed some good ones, particularly after the fourth round and as you say, he was trying to catch Mayweather all fight with it and never stopped trying. He just didn't land it very much.

He was throwing short right hooks, long, looping right hooks and even those wacky awkward angle ones that would have been absolutely impossible with a torn shoulder muscle. He was doing every possible version of it with his normal power and speed. I was particularly looking out for every right hook, as I'm sure many others were, because I thought if he was going to really catch him with anything it would be one of his counter right hooks, so I remember very well him throwing them non stop, all fight.

But, it's not even that. Arum hates Mayweather more than anyone else in boxing and would have done anything to see him lose and to make sure all was right, even more so to try and get a rematch, roach hates them all and I guarantee there is never a fight any of that entire team have wanted to win more than this and they would have an entire team dedicated to getting everything exactly right without a hitch so they could go forward and be at their best and win, and yet they bring out this excuse that they didn't let anyone know and they didn't sign off on the one major thing, the most important part of the whole ****ing process that would allow them to get a pain shot?!?! The only people they had to tell, they didn't, and the only people they had to let know of the injury in advance and sign off on it, they didn't. A process that they would have done a thousand times over and that they would know back to front and be perfectly aware of? What a bunch of complete ****s.

First the injury had no legitimacy now that the paper trail has been exposed now its irrelevant. It amazes me that boxing fans can be so f'ing begrudging over two men. Seriously. How much proof do people need before they STFU? Would it have made a difference if he wasn't injured? That's something only both of them know. As it stands hats off to both men and life goes on but please for the love of god stop being a b*t*h and acting like this injury was pulled out of thin air when I don't know how many sources have already confirmed it and source outside of the camp mostly. Doesn't matter who the injury was on we would've still been dealing with the denial from folks on this site. It's flat out pathetic. 2016 can't come soon enough and with it the vanishing of fanboys from both sides.

They go into the biggest fight in history, the one they waited six years for, the only fight that they needed to win in his whole career, the fight that the whole world wanted him to win...at 60% with a terrible shoulder injury? Get. The. ****. Out.

Pac was absolutely fine all fight. He never showed any restraint in throwing right hooks and jabs all fight. None whatsoever.

If he was injured, there would have been all sorts of stuff being done in the corner throughout the whole fight to keep it from getting inflamed and to keep it limber, particularly if they couldn't get this shot they wanted. They would have been asking about it; no mention even once, they would have been massaging it; not even a touch to it, and they would have been icing it; not an ice pack in sight all fight.

When Pac got his leg cramps they had the whole ****ing team in the ring desperately massaging his legs and asking him about them and trying to keep them from cramping up, but when he tears his shoulder in the biggest fight in his career and in boxing history, no one touches it, no one asks him if it's ok, no one ices it, no one even makes the slightest mention of it or even hints at it with a mention of the shoulder, how it holding up or with anything to keep it getting worse...but suddenly he's got a torn rotator cuff when they lose?

Even funnier was the close up of Pacs warm up showing him ripping hard right hook after hard right hook while laughing and smiling. You've got a torn rotator cuff that puts you at 60% and yet you're able to laugh and smile at the camera while tearing into the mitts with brutal looking right hooks? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Then amazingly, he can throw fast right hooks and jabs all fight without any hint of tightness, lack of speed or power or the tiniest resemblance of pain, but he's actually got a terrible shoulder injury that meant he couldn't throw the right hand, despite ****loads of video very much proving otherwise.

It's not difficult to see. Go watch a replay and you see him being very quick with his classic right hook counter all fight. He never stopped throwing and never looked any different than he ever does...in fact, he was really going for it and throwing it with more power than he usually does, he just couldn't land it that's all.

          Good post..

I am just trying to see things objectively, not making any excuses, Manny looked pathetic, I can't believe he threw about half his average number of punches, and I also can't believe that he had a non-moving Floyd against the ropes in the 4th, he was free to pound him at will, and he backs down? It is really a very fishy business, the one fighter then never gets tired, never quits attacking and he does exactly that during the most important fight of his life?
He did exactly the same thing against Bradley every single time he got him against the ropes.

It's very simple. Mayweather wasn't nearly as hurt as you think, and Pac knew it. Pac would have looked up and seen Mayweather peeking out of his shell and realising nothing was really landing, stopped.

So basically pacs team didn't inform commision because they feared commision wouldn't allow fight to happen

              Arum is to blame

              Never liked him

This is the same guy who celebrates with Bradley in the ring vs PAC then at the presser screams robbery after realising what the public opinion and press opinion was

              What a mess

Horrific decision making by pacs team

And there was obviously an injury. PAC didn't throw one right hook on the mitts during media workout. This media workout was also extraordinarily short.

Ellerbes comments also confirm mayweather knew of the injury.

Changes a fighters mindset. Floyd had a mental edge going in. More confidence.

But Floyd has brittle hands and no doubt fought with sore hands. But the shoulder injury is a debilitating injury. Floyd actually had same injury vs Castillo . And decided to go ahead with the fight.

A rematch is still the biggest fight out there money wise for mayweather, who calls the shots right now.

And I'm not sure if he would want to fight Thurman or khan. Both will make him work in the ring.

Farewell fight? Garcia? I don't see it . It won't sell. And won't go down well with the fans. Floyd isn't loved enough for people to celebrate his career with a farewell fight. People wNna see him pushed in a close fight or lose.

As for PAC, if arum puts him in with Crawford next, that confirms arum doesn't give a **** about PAC , he just cAres about money even at his age. People are creatures of habit and he's lived a long life of trying to get as much money as possible from fighters. Arum stumbled upon Crawford. Mikey Garcia recommended him to manager Cameron Dunkin who then told top rank about him . And Crawford filled in late notice to fight Prescott.

Bottom line is arum didn't inform commision of injury because he feared that commision would cancel fight because of the nature of the injury. Indicates solely money was on his mind. This statement is bull****. Usada is not the commision.

Im Upset that he went ahead with an injury, but I'm not mad at Manny he didn't want to upset he the fans. Pacman still the man. After his shoulder heals, maybe he can get Floyd to go for number 50 next year and get a rematch.

Yet they allow floyd to use it for all his fights in Las Vegas. Commision only reason they didn't allow it cuz they weren't notified by team pacquiao and yet they were notified by usda. Their is a paper trail by usada..commission is bogus

As it stands, Floyd beat the man and deserves credit. If they post evidence of the injury, well, I say make a rematch...a substantially cheaper one. Once they post the evidence, the credit for the win is shot to schit in the eyes of many people who will definitely buy the fight again.
