Now that an injury is mentioned, suddenly it's an "excuse"? Come on people!
If the roles were reversed and it was Floyd talking about a shoulder injury, would you be saying the same?

If what the sparring partner was saying is true then the shoulder injury probably was legit, but yeah I don't care either. I'd rather this whole thing was left in the past and we could just move on. Life after Mayweather-Pacquiao, that's what the sport needs now.

By the very definition of excuse, it certainly falls within those parameters.

        excuse: transitive verb
        1
a : to make apology for
b : to try to remove blame from
        2
: to forgive entirely or disregard as of trivial import : regard as excusable
        3
a : to grant exemption or release to
b : to allow to leave
        4
: to serve as excuse for : justify

I guess maybe I'm less forgiving of someone claiming that pain prevented them from winning a match in the hurt game.

Doesn't take Einstein to figure that out. As for the NSAC refusing to allow Pac a shot... that is the biggest load of b.s. I've ever heard. Biggest fight ever for the guy, biggest boxing event in modern history, yet these dipfeks can't get their head outta their back door long enough to think outside the feking box. Even if Pac's team didn't turn in the paperwork, which is an open issue at this point IMO, they already asked for permission for meds that anyone with any medical knowledge would know is for an injury, to reduce pain and inflammation.

And as for you Floydiots, just keep running your big mouths. Sick of you classless morons grinding on someone when you don't know all the facts. Or not allowing ANY excuses. I hope Pac does get a rematch. If he improves or dominates Floydie, just MAYBE he was telling the truth. Then what would you idiots have to say?

So much truth bombs in this post.

NSAC is pretty whack for not approving a shot, despite knowing Manny has been using this medication during training camp.

I think the people got robbed big time. NSAC's excuse is actually pretty pathetic. With a fight of that proportion, exclusions has to be made. This is what happens though when you're the B-Side though. Mayweather's pockets is so deep, everyone in this boxing industry in Vegas had to comply. SMH.

Pac is supposed to be a humble guy right? But how ARROGANT do you have to be to go into a fight with an injured shoulder against a guy who is 47-0 and P4P#1??

Of course its true. Dashon Johnson who is one of Manny's sparring partner confirmed it on his FB account. According to Johnson, Manny's shoulders were "messed up" and thats why sparring sessions and partners were cut short and sent home.

It's a catch 22. With the amount of time and money invested in this fight, the B-side couldn't afford to put everything on hold.

Pacquiao was a shot away from giving the fans a competitive fight, and it was taken away. Ridiculous...

Turned down fight over needles. Now complains about not being given a needle on fight night. The irony........
