I'm not saying it's a competitive fight, I'm just saying it's perfect for Mayweather.

DG v Floyd is very likely too, I've been calling it for a while and was gonna add him to my OP but then decided against it.

I rate Mathysse, what makes you think I don't? Just cos I called DG beating him doesn't mean I don't rate Matt. He has power and some decent skills. I just don't ride fighters and say it how it is, I don't make excuses either, as if somehow I owe that fighter something.

Matthysse/Pacquiao is more likely. Honestly as a Matthysse fan, I don't want to wach him be embarrassed for 12 rounds by Mayweather. Still he might show more heart than Pacquiao did and land a few good shots.

Then what's the point of it? Imo he has the potential to do well against Floyd but it's reliant on his power carrying up, he's not a big JWW either, significant step up in weight for him.

You seem to short-change him a lot, talk up Garcia. I rate both of them now, never used to rate Garcia before but he dug deep against a much bigger Peterson. I see Garcia as a Froch-esque fighter now, always in tough fights but fighting through.

            True that.

Pacquiao eats up Matthysse though. But I totally forgot the promotional disputes.

Mayweather v DG is the likely next fight. And final one on the Showtime contract.

Corley said Lucas hit harder than Maidana and Provodnikov so I think it will. Only thing that worries me is Lucas is pretty small. Corley also predicted Lucas beating Ruslan as he's "stronger and more aggressive".

If Mayweather was penalised for holding like he should be, I'd give Lucas a great chance, but he'll be clasping all night and his Vegas ref will let him.

Matthysse, since his healthy, KOs floyd in 3 so I dont expect floyd to take the fight.

THE WORLD WANTS TO SEE THE Pacquiao vs Mayweather, the rematch! After so much waiting we didnt get to see it because Pacquiao was injured fighting at 40% with one arm. Let Pac have surgery, heal and lets see the actual fight. Nobody counts last Saturday and has forgotten about it because it doesnt count.

Was there any point in Floyd v Maidana/Guerrero/Ortiz?

I don't talk up DG, I was one of he few who predicted he'd beat Matthysse, I reckon DG, when on his best night, is the best LWW on the planet. He lacks certain foot speed but other than that, he is very, very good. I don't discredit his win over Mathysse, he beat the most feared puncher in the division.

I do believe Matthysse lacks a certain grit but when he uses his power effectively and decides to box, he is very good. DG still beats him every day of the week though, as does Pacquiao and Crawford and Mayweather. It's not short changing him, it's just saying it how it is.
