I'm not sure what to think here anymore but I will say this...if you have an injury that compromises your ability to fight...you postpone the fight. If it's not so bad that you feel you are not compromised and you lose because of it...you can't blame the injury. You can only blame yourself for bad judgement. The fight is over...time to move on. It was a crappy fight and this whole fiasco is worth forgetting about.

I don't believe he re-injured it during the fight. Not once did they mention it in the corner and he didn't mention it in the post fight interview, he was also throwing right hooks with power the entire fight. The injury itself couldn't have been all that bad in the first place. There was a constant flow of videos in the lead up where Pacquiao was punching the bag, doing pad work and shadow boxing. WEAK excuse.Comment

Fighting through injury is normal. Floyd said he had two bad arms and two bad hands. He's basically constantly injured now. That's what happens when you've been a pro for 20 years.
Stop with the excuses it's pathetic.Comment

lets be honest, 99% of us are more pissed off that he fought hurt with little chance of being effective, than we would've been w/ a post-ponement because of an injuryComment

depends on the injury, if he tore his rotator's cuff he's pretty much done as a pro. my father has two torn rotator's cuffs that he's had operated on and even post-procedure the surgeon told him he won't have full mobility in either one. granted he had the first shoulder operated on at 40 years old, the 2nd one he was in his 50's, both times they told him his shoulders are pretty much ****ed
even in baseball, pitchers w/ elbow problems can usually come back semi-effective, shoulders...not so much.
if pacquiao has a torn rotator's, he's doneComment
