  • Comments Thread For: Ariza Slams Pacquiao's Entire Team: He Needs Better!

Strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza held few words back when discussing Manny Pacquiao's twelve round decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Ariza had previously worked with Pacquiao for several years - until he was fired by trainer Freddie Roach in 2013. Since the start of the year, Ariza was assisting Mayweather in his training camp.

Since last year, Ariza has been very critical of Pacquiao's corner and said the Filipino star needs to revamp his entire team if he intends to become the Pacquiao of old. [Click Here To Read More]

Here is the video, Ariza speaks the truth. I been saying it before Roach is an overrated garbage trainer, he is more of a fame monger now, he enjoys the cameras and adoration, this dude really uses his parkinsons to get away with being a prick and jerk, he **** on Ariza, Ariza loved Roach, he protected Roach and looked out for him, and all of a sudden when Ariza and Pac started becoming best buddies he get jealous and turned on Ariza and treated him like an enemy. Pac is ******ly loyal to a fault

roach gameplan saved pacquiao from getting torn up

pacquiao tried countering the entire fight then mixing in flurrying to steal rounds.the gameplan was obvious.

if pacquiao was to get reckless he was going to get ko'd.

Ariza still loves Manny because his fiancee is best friends with Jinkee.

I thought Manny's corner looked completely deflated between rounds.

Ariza still obviously cares about Manny. Manny and Ariza worked really well together but obviously politics and money is more important than Boxing itself so **** like this happens.

I have to agree with Ariza. Roach is all about himself. I am sure he cares about Manny, but he is too self involved and because he was not successful as a fighter he tries to grab all the attention and glory for himself now that he is a trainer. And the press has made him bigger and better than he actually is. Giving him trainer of the year every year when he does not deserve it most of the time. I hate to say it, bcuz I hate people who play the race card, but it is bcuz he is white. White people can't have a great white hope so they have settled for a great white trainer. We all know who is the greatest trainer ever and that is Emanuel Stewerd, not Freddie Roach. And Emanuel's fighters actually won titles once they brought him on board, they got better, hell he even rebuilt fighters after their careers were left for dead. Just ask Lennox Lewis and Vladimir Klitschko. Roach has never done that.

You can tell every time he does an interview it is me, me, me. He talks as if he wins the fight, as if he does it all and the fighter is just a puppet of his boxing genius. He does this with Miguel Cotto all the time even with Manny. Manny does need a new team, but he will never go for it. BTW I do believe Roach got rid of Ariza out of jealousy. That is how selfish he is, he knew Ariza got great results with Manny and he fired him. What kind of trainer does that. He would rather have Manny's career suffer out of jealousy like some teenage girl.

I agree with you wholeheartedly homie except for the race bit.

It's more to do with him exploiting his parkinsons to evade criticism.

He's been a very disrespectful bitter old man but thinks he's beyond criticism because of his disease.
