As I said before, Pacquiao will still be remembered as the greater fighter, just as Duran is remembered as greater than Leonard, despite losing to him twice, and Hearns, and Hagler.
What he did before that made none of it matter. Same with Pacquiao.
Everyone knows that fights between fighters at the end of their career dont matter, just like nobody is holding Roys current career against his greatness, or Kovalev and Dawson against Hopkins.

Despite the fight being far from FOTY, this is quite a boost for his legacy IMO.
