As I said before, Pacquiao will still be remembered as the greater fighter, just as Duran is remembered as greater than Leonard, despite losing to him twice, and Hearns, and Hagler.

What he did before that made none of it matter. Same with Pacquiao.

Everyone knows that fights between fighters at the end of their career dont matter, just like nobody is holding Roys current career against his greatness, or Kovalev and Dawson against Hopkins.

had Floyd beat Pac in 2009 he'll surpass him for sure
Had Pac not delayed the fight running from random testing, he still would've lost.

Despite Pacquiao not being prime, It's still a huge boost to Floyd's resume. Pacquiao is a legit ATG and would probably beat the rest of the WW despite being a natural 140lber at this point. Not to mention Floyd was able to unify the belts after the win which is kind of a big deal.

Despite the fight being far from FOTY, this is quite a boost for his legacy IMO.

Floyd is an ATG, but as far as accomplishments Pac>>>Floyd.

no non-bias fan of the sport will tell you that pacquiao is greater or better than floyd. floyd has the better resume and the better technical skill.

That's not always the case though. Great fighters lose to lesser fighters all the time.

Even so, this is probably Floyd's best win despite him being expected to win, with all things considered.

Ring was floyd in the top 20.....pacquiao is nowhere to be found on that list and this was BEFORE THEY EVEN FOUGHT!
