floyd and pacquaio are in the same weight class and fought a lot of the same fighters. pacquiao took a few L's in the process. sorry but that hurts his legacy. floyd has fought top competition(including pacquiao) and has came out unblemished. i don't even know how this is an argument.....and you can't use the duran-leonard comparison because at least duran beat leonard once.

Floyd definitely won the fight, no question so none of that "Oh, Manny really won" crap.

      Yes to the Thread question.

You'd have an argument if Pac wasn't blatantly robbed.

Going further, if you look at the overall spectrum.

We're later going to be comparing this Mega Fight, to Duran vs Leanord, and it falls short simply because one was prime for prime, and the other both were past it.

That's the only thing that hurts it, the timing. But a great win nonetheless.
          Definitely agree

The difference is Duran beat Leonard. Which adds massively to his greatness. Pacquaio hasn't and won't beat Mayweather.

To compare Pacquaio today, #2 P4P to Roy Jones' corpse and a nearing 50 Bernard Hopkins is also ******ed.
            lol pac weren't #2p4p.

You don't recover from a KO like that and Pac didn't.

Since the KO he been gunshy, which massively effected his performance.

i agree, but unfortunately a win still a win and Bradley's "win" is still an accomplishment resume wise

and then there's the JMM KO6 of Pac which is still better resume wise compared to this fight

No, anyone would be hard pressed to deal with mayweathers grab and hold pot shot style. What is this the olympics, just lol.

Terrible argument. With that thinking, we'll have to rank Marciano higher than Ali.

                    Sorry, #3 P4P..

You weren't saying this before the fight so making excuses now makes you look pathetic.

Yes he did surpass him. Mayweather is the best fighter of his generation. It was a victory that filled in the only hole on his resume.
