And for the most part, fought them coming off highs in their career. Hard to compare eras but easily the best fighter of this one.

and floyd hasn't beaten a prime or close to prime ATG. he waited till they were past it before taking them on.

Judah was in the Ring PFP top 10 after losing to Baldomir?

Hatton and Marquez were there on the strength of what they did in lower divisions and Guerrero and Canelo didn't belong there at all.

marquez - cheated on the scales, moving up two weight classes for the FIRST time, not properly conditioned AT ALL (didn't have angel chemist heredia and relied on drinking his own pee and eating some bird eggs), very flabby/bloated and slow

mosley - coming off over a one year layoff, old/past prime, gassed out after the 3rd round

pacquiao - no longer prime, got ko'ed badly a few fights earlier, injured shoulder, fight should have happened much earlier, was head locked repeatedly

hatton - fighting above his most successful/best weight class (140lbs), struggled badly against collazo

guerrero didn't belong anywhere near the top ten p4p, canelo was still very very green (21 years old) and only had ONE decent win which was trout (a fight i thought was a draw). judah coming directly off a loss - and he has had a pretty mediocre career losing all of his major fights. etc. etc.

cotto - fighting above his best weight (welterweight), far past his prime, struggled against mayorga not too long ago, coming off a mediocre win against a damaged one-eyed margarito, etc.

floyd just knows when to pick them or who to pic. that's the truth.

I'd be surprised if Judah was still in the top 10. And the Hatton win is still an excellent one. The Marquez win is a great one. I'd be inclined to agree with you except...in his second fight at welter many believe he thoroughly outboxed Pacquiao. Wasn't like he was a slouch there. On the contrary, he was just as formidable.

Using a halfwit's post as a reply. It'd be okay if it were the truth - but it aint.

Plenty of titles but never undisputed. Only took bouts where he was the favorite. Mayweather is great but there is a reason he is not considered a top 5 welterweight all time and part that is careful matchmaking and record building. Best of this era, probably, but that's it.
