Mayweather walked Pac down at will. There were times Floyd even chased Pac... People saying Floyd ran all night are crazy. Floyd spent some of the time coming forward and literally standing still infront of pacquiao. There was a round where Floyd just stood there not moving for like 20 seconds and Pac was too afraid to throw. Even up close he had Pac hitting pure air. Pac was missing some of those left hands horrifically and so badly that he gave Floyd his back more than once.
Canelo did better (if memory serves me right...). He was schooled but even he didnt look as lost as Manny.Comment

manny just didn't have it anymore. that's the truth. his killer instinct wasn't there like it was in his prime. and the movement wasn't there anymore either. we were all fooled into thinking that we'd see the best of both fighters. manny looked great in the training clips but deep down he didn't have it anymore.Comment

No, you were fooled into thinking PAC was ever in FMJ class.manny just didn't have it anymore. that's the truth. his killer instinct wasn't there like it was in his prime. and the movement wasn't there anymore either. we were all fooled into thinking that we'd see the best of both fighters. manny looked great in the training clips but deep down he didn't have it anymore.
Not that he didn't have it anymore he was confused and wasn't sure when to throw punches.
Then he hurt his right hand excuse, he was still throwing it in the 12th round.
He lost to a much better technical and skilled fighter.. get over it.Comment

Every knowledgable boxing insider said that would happen.I said going in that Pacquiao would go guns blazing if a decision lost looked inevitable, that was the intriguing factor of this fight because most are always made to be tentative. When that didn't happen it surprised the heck out of me. Mayweather made him far more cautious than we're used to seeing.
I am not surprised at all.
Props to you for realising that Pacs output dropped because of Mayweather.
Most pacfans are just making excuses.
This fight will be won by whoever can get the other guy to fight his fight.
If Mayweather can control the distance, he will control the pace of the fight, and most likely win hands down.
Pac will need to outwork Mayweather, which will be a big ask.
And Pac outworking Mayweather will not come down to stamina, like many have suggested..... it will come down to Mayweathers precision, when controlling the distance.
If Mayweather can handle the pressure, by controlling the distance with precision, Mannys output will plummet making his job much harder.Comment

" ..... just beat the name, not the fighter " ?Floyd looked the same.... He didnt look young, pacquia is just a washed up congressman, thats all. Floyd just beat the name manny, not the fighter. This fight was a disgrace to boxing and boxing fans but u know how fanboys are gonna love this win regardless. They will probably say this was a prime undefeated pacquiao in their eyes. Its a shame we didnt get this fight in 2010. We were robbed of the real fight and ppl spent their money on this **** fight.... I fell asleep by the 8th round no joke
You mean like Pacquiao did when he fought Hoya / Hatton / Cotto / Margarito / Mosley.
How did beating old men prepare Pacquiao for Mayweather ?
How did beating mid-level 140 lb'ers prepare Pacquiao for Mayweather ?
This was always going to happen, its just that the fanboys didnt see it coming.
Well, that is not Mayweathers fault !
Pacquiao said he was ready, and that he could beat Mayweather.
Roach said that Pac was ready, and that he could beat Mayweather.
And you believed them.
And now you are crying
