It was actually sad to watch. Ive never really been a Pacquiao fan, or think he is technically gifted or anything, but the man we saw in the ring was just an empty shell of the fighter he once was.
It was like watching Leonard in the Camacho fight.
Couldn't pull the trigger, couldn't use his legs.
Remember the days of the constant in and out movement? Tonight was just an old man standing still and trying to lunge in every once in a while.
Also like I said, Maidana's awkwardness made people think Floyd had lost more than he has. Floyd is still fresh as a daisy, just coming out of his prime years.
Manny has been on the slide since the Cotto fight though.
As I feared, uncompetitive. But there were glimpses of what the fight would have been 5 years ago, and it would have been a great one.
Its a shame we missed it.

Congratulations to both Floyd and manny.
Manny rocked him a couple of times but Floyd was clearly landing hard right hands through out the fight.
Good fight

And I know why Pac says he won.. it's not poor sportsmanship Per se. He has made the mistake of hinging his faith in God on whether he wins or loses this fight. As such, he could not admit failure to himself or others. He put the Lord his God to the test, something Jesus did not do.
Theology lesson over. Nice to see everyone again.
