Not a great performance by Floyd. However, no one should be surprised by this. Floyd has been on the decline for some time. His father knows this, he knows this better than anyone, which is why he wants him to retire and forget about the last fight.

The biggest thing that came out of this fight, and actually most of Floyd's last 4 fights is the disappearance of his once absolutely lethal and laser like left hook. It's just not there anymore.

To sum it up Floyd def won, but in a fight of this magnitude sometimes that's not enough. He needed to do it more impressively and he could have done so, but he was FAR FAR too cautious. The right hook and uppercut worked when he threw them, but he didn't throw them nearly enough, nor the right to the body. He should have cut Manny down with str8 rights to the body.

Manny for his part didn't fight well either. He was thinking too much. Roach looked at Ortiz and Hatton and everyone else who fought Floyd aggressively and thought, let's not just jump on him. It was the wrong move imo. The handspeed and footspeed of Manny meant a slightly reckless strategy would have been better than trying to out think Floyd.

man. i can only laugh at people who predicted a knockout from either side. i told people on here time and time again, neither fighter has knocked anyone out in 10 years and both are the absolute best that each other has ever faced. so you're telling me when a fighter hasn't knocked out anyone in 10 years and now is facing the best opponent of their career, your bet is that they will knock that opponent out? are you kidding me? That goes against all logic. the fight went exactly as any real fight fan with any knowledge knew it would go, just as Dwyer and many others predicted. an easy lopsided points domination by mayweather. Pacquiao was unable to land a single effective punch all night.
