Kell is a very good fighter with a bright future. But he is not, and likely never will be, on Mayweather or Pacquiao's radar. If he plans his career based on fighting one of them he'll just waste a couple of years of his prime like Khan has.

Kell Brook fought Shawn Porter on Showtime, winning a world title. Kell Brook fought, on Showtime, his mandatory challenger in front of a raucous 10,000+ fans in his home arena in Sheffield. Kell Brook is fighting, on Showtime, in front of a live audience that'll likely approach 20,000 fans (a fight he'll likely impress in).

Three straight impressive performances on premium TV, proofing examples that he brings a live audience with him, Paulie Malignaggi having a platform (Showtime/CBS/SkySports) to talk up a guy he has already argued is maybe the best fighter at 147, rematches with Cotto or Canelo not being options, and the IBF welterweight championship around his waist.

You add that Danny Garcia didn't look spectacular in his last fight (putting him out of the running) and Keith Thurman is still building up his name (though he may be an option), with Amir Khan taking himself out of the running with his Ramadan stance and, in all honesty, taking a lighter touch, you could argue that Kell Brook may be in poll position right now.

... unless Mayweather-Pacquiao ends up being a fight warranting a rematch; then all this talk is moot.

Luis Collazo > Gavin ... khan beat Peterson (robbed), Maidana, Judah, Alexander ..smh ,.i know he can be irritating but you cant deny he has proven himself more than brook the crook. trying to slither his way into a Mayweather fight just because of a crusty ass belt ..

          As if....

...he has any say in it. As if he has any power to make it happen. He is nothing until he works his way up in a crowded field. No more gifts..

Yup, along with Thurman, Bradley and others, but will settle for a Carson Jones trilogy.

But you guys know it is all Khan's fault who doesn't fight him, which has forced Brook to settle for floor sweepers all of his career (except Porter of course).

It's easy to call him a bum because he hasn't attracted named opposition. But he's taken care of everybody in front of him and he's game. He obviously wants bigger fights (not just Mayflower/Pac). Hearn made the Gavin fight. Poor choice but Brook wants Khan. Hard to call him a pus5y for that.

He needs a few more names in that resume. Try your luck with Bradley, Thurman and Guerrero. I am sure Maidana wouldn't mind a scrap!

It depends on Mayweather. If he wants to unify, Brook is the man.
