Cotto suffers from the same phobia as Froch... fear of the letter G. When it is combined three times as in GGG, it sends both Cotto and Froch into a delusional state of mind where reality ceases to exist. It is kind of like saying Beetlejuice three times in a row. Does fighting nobody (Froch) bring in $? FFS he's been inactive for almost a year now. Now that Chavez fight is off the table Froch has only two PPV options left: Ward and GGG. He's already been beaten by Ward once and, by his own admission, would lose to him again.

Beating this Golovkin kid, the hype job, would not only enhance his legacy, it would make Froch - Ward II much bigger, both boxing and financial wise.

Couldn't care less about Geale being "a footnote" in Cotto's career, Cotto's not the only fighter in the MW division and the MW isn't his personal "X Factor", him defending the lineal MW title against a guy who's been demolished in 3 rounds by Golovkin at a catchweight is a disgrace. He won't get a pass for that, why should he? Because he's Miguel Cotto? Please.

As for Froch, I've already explained it to you, aside from Ward, Golovkin is Carl's only PPV option right now.
