This has been said several times and repeated several times. Chicken Floyd will do anything to win this fight. The referee, the judges and mainly Congressman Manny Pacquiao should be on guard.

In MMA, you are correct. But the only legal contact you can have with your opponent involves takes place at the end of your closed-handed boxing glove. You can legally hold if you don't hit while doing it, but you must wait for the referee to separate you.

The rules differ from commission to commission, but here's something to get you started. http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Rules_of_Boxing

Putting your forearm up to your opponent's chest/neck/face constitutes illegal contact. Pushing him is illegal contact. Pushing him with your forearm is illegal to the Second Degree, which constitutes what the Marquess of Queensberry (aka, John Sholto Douglas) referred to as "A violation of utmost douche baggery".

Got all that from the History Channel.

If it were against the rules, than floyd would have more point deductions than anyone. Forearms can't be illegal. Floyd fights fairly.

Since I never got a speeding ticket while speeding, speeding must be legal!

I'm surprised Weebler isn't in here going crazy on Cortez about the Hatton fight.

It could be a factor in this fight.

Mayweather does have some very good "dirty boxing" skills.

                  Yep.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I don't think we will have to worry about it, though.

I think Pac won't let it become an issue.

You're messin' with me. And that's cool. I'm just trying to pass the time. Hey, if a ref stopped the action to deduct a point for every illegal move, the scores after each fight would both be in the negative.

That's what makes a good referee good. They know when to call it and when to let it slide. If Hopkins couldn't foul, he'd never have gotten out of Philly clubs. If Maidana couldn't hit you behind and on top of the head, there wouldn't have been a need for a rematch. If Floyd couldn't use his forearms, he'd be forced to inside fight, and he isn't a fan of inside fighting. Anyone remember if Judah lost a point for that cooter buster he hit Mayweather with? I honestly can't remember.

                      It's all gravy.
