Teddy Atlas is a complete whack job. In his autobiography he admitted to waiting outside Donny Lalonde's apt with a gun to kill him because he lost out on a $600K trainer's cut after Lalonde fired him and went on to fight Sugar Ray Leonard...but changed his mind. He usually gets his predictions wrong anyways. I don't know why he gets quoted.

That's likely always going to be a mystery. My guess is this (assuming he wasn't juicing), it wasn't at all about cleaning up the sport. Floyd had a million opportunities to be a legitimate and effective advocate for stricter testing policies. He could have gone before the NSAC and lobbied for tougher testing policies. He could have acted as an emissary to all the major sanctioning bodies. He could have done tv, radio, podcast interviews calling for a major overhaul.

But, he didn't. He and that thing he calls a father just went about it in really grade school ways, making silly little jokes and assumptions on social media of all places. "Manny and PEDS sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G..." type ****.

I think Manny was proud of his accomplishments and because he did them cleanly, probably took those accusations as a HUGE compliment. I'm so damn good they're convinced I'm juicing. And, as a result, Floyd is going to find excuse after excuse after excuse not to fight me.

Honestly, if a group of illiterate (literally illiterate) hood **** insinuated that you were a lesbian and liked other women and said you had to kiss one of them to prove you were straight, would you even dignify their silliness by complying? Or would you say "Go toss your own salad" and then... win a defamation suit against them.
