I think most fans have no interest in Golovkin fighting Jacobs. Jacobs needs to earn it.

He will either overbid knowing the other side has a contract preventing them from fighting on a different network or make his fighter vacate. Haymon fighters are "free agents" so there should be no problem with them fighting on HBO, Roc Nation or whatever other promotion/network. But we all know they won't. Haymon = killer of great fights.
lol. How many shows has RocNation put on HBO? How about just count the shows, period. There was no indication that HBO was welcoming RNS into the fold (RocNation has moved on to deals with FS1 and BET, with HBO only even considering to work with Cotto, their client, because they're looking to line him up for the fighter that HBO is betting will be the sport's next star).

Haymon isn't going to grovel at the scraps bucket that is the HBO Boxing budget (Where Sergey Kovalev, having three world titles around his waist and delivering solid ratings for the channel for some time now, is still getting **** money from HBO).

And, last I checked, it was HBO/Main Events who pulled the plug on Stevenson-Kovalev, not Haymon.

Essentially, the HBO exclusive deal will be the reason why GGG doesn't fight on PBC. Loeffler having prior work experience with Haymon means nothing if HBO has ultimate control over who GGG fights and what network he fights on.
