Comments Thread For: Roach: Pacquiao Has Been Blood Tested Over 12 Times

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - According to trainer Freddie Roach, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has given blood on more than a dozen occasions in the last few weeks.

Both Pacquiao and WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. are being tested by USADA [United States Anti-Doping Agency] for performance enhancing drugs and other banned substances.

Back in 2010, the Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiations fell apart when Pacquiao refused to take part in a random drug testing protocol. During the last two years, Pacquiao became more comfortable with the random drug testing process.

Poor Manny. Couldn't weight drain him so they just took all his blood.

In between rounds would be better.

Damn 12 times? How many has Mayweather gotten? I haven't even heard 1. I'm surprised Floyd didn't request to take Pacquiao's ***** and test it out too.

Floyd Sr. was asked how many times his son got tested.....uh....I don't know. What? No wonder Floyd insists on using USADA.
