This is odd to read. Manny is supposed to be bankrolling his run for President and Jinkee's run for congress. I know things are much less expensive in the Philippines but I figured he needed all the resources possible to undertake those endeavors.

tbh, i can't think of many fighters who've been able to live comfortable lives after working their entire careers with arum, hell even big george had to make grills and come back for one fight he owed arum. as far as manny, he didn't need arum after the margarito fight in my eyes, his brand was set. arum knew he needed to keep manny under top rank. i woulda liked to see manny be his own person and rep himself, much like dlh cotto and may are doing, manny earned that right to do so. i just think a lot of mishaps that have happened with manny under arum from 2011/2012-present are keeping him hostage at top rank and will after he's done and retired. hell most likely be president of the Philippines, be an entertainer and etc, but hell always have arum looking over his shoulder with his hand out.
