Is that the same night that B-Hop lost?

the great joe calzaghe always threw with his gloves thumb up so, i do agree it looks like slapping with very fast hands but not the case im afraid.
anybody remember an undefeated not so washed up everybody scared of him jeff "left hook" lacy? ......yeah.....he wasnt 40 was he with his boat race all battered and bruised.. ask his trainer/s. so stfu and take your medicine jc haters.
when the americans saw what some of our middleweight fighters did to the so called best of the best at the time they didnt want to know.
look at nigel benns resume against americans...no american would even face eubank and rjj only fought clinton woods because he was a domestic nobody.
but, that is not to say that rjj was never probably the most talented middle/supermiddle weight boxer ever..possibly.

True. I remember before that fight Lacy was touted as the SuperMiddle version of Tyson (literally, those words). Not many people gave Joe a chance. Afterwards everybody was saying "he's was hyped... blah, blah". Truth is he was never the same after Joe smashed his face up.

it was actually illegal but he always got away with it. You cannot hit with an open glove, the inside of the glove, the wrist,

lacy wasn't good though. he only beat 1 top 10 guy before calzaghe and that was an ancient robin reid who was #9. he also barely beat omar sheika. the odds were essentially dead even so i don't know how that's not giving joe a chance but keep trying to revise history.
