Comments Thread For: Pacquiao: I Gained Experience, Same Speed and Power

Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada - A lot of debates have taken place among insiders and fans alike about Saturday's mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. The build up of this fight has taken five years and many wonder who will have the advantage by the fight not taking place five years ago.

When Pacquiao was posed this question by a select group of reporters on Tuesday, he replied by saying that he feels that he physically is still on top of his game and that he is even better now because he is more experienced.

I've watched losts of Floyd and Manny fights in the past days and I must agree. Manny is a better fighter today, can't say the same about Floyd.

I love both fighters but this is Pacquiao's time

Every freaking media outlet is misquoting Pacquiao as having said "relax, I am going to win the fight on Saturday." If you watch the clip he clearly says "relax. I'm the one who's going to fight in the ring." Fighthype is the one that originally misquoted him in the video title, and now everyone just runs with it. Shows you just how inept the media really is. Just copy from everyone else.

The class of opponents is way higher for Floyd and the conditions were much tougher because of it , how do you think that comes out in the wash , you appear to only see the fight in front of your face , to you beating a dud easy makes the guy better , boxing is in classes A+ is way different than C even if C looks to the casual as anything but C .

Get ready for a lesson .

the class of opponents is not "way higher" for Floyd. gtfoh. i'd say overall their class of opponents is pretty equal. yes, Floyd fought Oscar and Cotto at higher weights, but he also fought Marquez and Canelo at catchweights. And Floyd never fought Bradley, who is (or certainly was) a top 5 pound-for-pound opponent.

I wish I had a dollar for every biased fool on both sides of this equation. both Floyd and Manny are great, and it's a shame you idiots can't appreciate that.

Really ? Last I checked Pac got laid out, and they have been setting him up to fight guys with pillows in their gloves.

The lost against Bradley doesn't mean a thing cause Pac clearly won that fight.

The JMM KO was nothing more than a very unlucky punch. It could happen to anyone. Again means nothing.

                  1. He didn't make his opponents fight with pillow gloves unlike Floyd.
                  2. Rios isn't that good but he can punch.

Manny fights guys coming of big loses followed by a soft win to say Im back to sell the name value , its a pattern , Hatton Oscar Cotto Mosley Margarito Rios all off big loses , Floyd fought all common opponents coming of big wins , thennnnnnnnnnnnnn Manny fought them at CWs .

Rios came of 2 loses never been at WW and is plodding sloth , there is parts in this fight where Manny will get taken apart by Floyd if he comes this open , look at Mannys great skills going backwards lol they nothing , no inside game either just running around a sloth picking him off , Floyd aint Rios .

Algieri is C grade and was a give me fight , go and listen to Roaches break down of Algieri , wont go ONE round because of the class gap , you watch Khan stop Algieri , its the weight and the class gap .

Bradley is over rated no power and now getting beat and draws with B guys , Tim took Manny to the wire and hurt him , then Bradley neck and neck with Ruslan who is in what class you think .

JMM is a top liner and true atg who got robbed in the 3rd meeting and Knocked Manny out in the 4th and we all know Floyd toyed with Marquez as in a total boxing schooling .

If you think that they add up to guys Floyd beat your tripping , have a tournament at WW , and Rios Algieri JMM and Bradley would get beat by Canelo Guerreo Ortiz Maidana .

Matter of fact I think any top level WW will give Manny all he can handle right now and they have been very careful to stay right away from WWS , Floyd will dominate him .
