Tyson is media savvy. He knows talking negatively about Floyd will get him more media attention. Tyson used to be Floyd and at times comes across as bitter that Floyd has usurped him; this will be the 3rd fight Floyd has been in that will outsell Mike at his peak; despite being a primarily defensive fighter.

Funny because it was Mike who was pissed last year when the interviewer asked him about being a rapist knowing it would garner extra attention.

Lucky for Floyd the fight will be here this weekend. He will have the opportunity to shut up a lot of people.

Yet when he's being criticized and hated on, these same fanboys run to his defense as if they share a pillow with him at night.

If this was all Floyd's "plan", then he nor his fans should complain when hate is thrown his way when his plan all along was to be hated. Instead, embrace his roll as the "bad guy" rather than acting like emotional women.
I don't think it's an act. I think Floyd is an ass for real

But I agree with you. Floyd has been positioning himself as the "bad guy" the last chunk of his career yet he and his fans get so damn emotional when people criticize him.

It's like they expect everyone to gargle floyd's nutsacks as much as they do.

All extremely famous people have security. I don't know what Mike's point was.

I don't think its an act either. He's a true prick and had no choice but to make that work for him by becoming the "heel".

I can recall during the buildup to Floyd/Hatton, Floyd mentioned how he would give anything to have the love and admiration that Hatton's fans had for him. Deep down inside Floyd wants to be loved by all fans. He just doesn't have the persona to be able to accomplish that.

Yeah, which explain why he acts less prickish in the build up for the fight.

He wants to be loved like Manny is by the American public despite not being American.

Unfortunately for him, that's something he can't buy.

It's quite sad really. I would feel sorry for him if he wasn't making a 9 figures in one night.

Tyson loves Ali and looks up to him to a huge extent. You all must have seen one of the times that he got choked up talking about him? It is very clear that he holds Ali extremely high, so to hear Floyd say he is greater than him obviously upset Mike and he got heated at the thought of it.

The school and kids comment, and calling him a small scared man etc was just a by product of him being angered at Floyd for what he, and many other people in the community, consider as borderline blaspheme, so to speak.

Thats not true. Mayweather is not the President of the United States. He doesn't need to have bodyguards to go to every single place. He does it for show and to mask his insecurities as a human being.

Tyson seemed cool until they asked him about the Ali comparison. Tyson is f**king crazy but he is a historian of boxing so it probably pisses him off how Mayweather thinks he's really the best of all time.

He relies on his skills and body to make money. You have seen that when he is in public he gets taunted. Why even risk it. When he is retired from boxing he will not need so much security.

It is like you telling me that Justin Bieber don't need security in public.

Mhmm... There was some of that original Tyson anger surfacing there. He obviously despises Floyd for what he represents.

What if he fails, will you log off for a year?

Also, it seems absurd you should talk about another ex-fighter being media savvy, knowing you love Floyd so much, the no.1 media whore in the world. Floyd would probably die should he get no media attention one day, lol.
