I wouldn't say it's getting hot again. It's nowhere near as good as it was with primed Kessler, Froch, Ward and AA with Bute standing in the wings.

Jack is a decent enough fighter but there's nothing special there, not particularly quick, not particularly aggressive, doesn't hit hard and isn't elusive. If Groves is back to his best, he should be able to win this one in a tough but clear decision. DeGale has shown that he can really push onto world level and Ward, for all his lack of balls and activity is a world class operator. Andre Dirrell is a coward.

Froch...well we just dunno where he's at this moment.

How do you feel DeGale does against Dirrell ?I also liked the fact that Jack beat Anthony the Puppy Dirrell I couldn't stand his antics either ..

I personally would love to see Froch face Ward or Dirrell agin but I don't think he goes anywhere near them ..

outside of ward and potentially the winner of dirrell-degale, smw is arguably even weaker than mw. froch is all-but retired. kessler's done. abraham and stieglitz will fight each other again and again for eternity. anthony dirrell is a dud and jack is mediocre. groves is a nearly-man, possibly mentally shot. evidently chavez jr is not going to be a player. admittedly i don't know anything about gilberto ramirez.

let's hope that whoever wins dirrell-degale makes a real statement, otherwise ward might as well move up.

The last super-six ended up a complete farce due to b1tches like Dirrell & Ward quitting or refusing to fight away from home.

I'm liking the whole DeGale Vs Dirrell / Groves Vs Jack situation.

If Dirrell turns up, him and DeGale could be a very good fight. I fancy DeGale to win, and i fancy Groves to beat Jack. So that would set up a real grudge (re)match between Groves and DeGale.
I'd love to see it all pan out that way.

DeGale beats Direll, on points, in an ugly fight.

Groves wins or loses against Jack doesn't matter as DeGale v Groves is happening next year.

Ward v Froch II may happen as other doors are closing fast: Chavez Jr isn't viable any more, GGG isn't moving up, Ward isn't going to LHW, so it looks like we're getting a rematch that should have happened immediately following Bute. That Froch would have given Ward hell.

Ward wins in a similar fight to the first one now.
