I'm leaning towards Mayweather but I'm not with certainty, imo it's a fight you just have to watch to see how it plays out.
My thinking Floyd wins wide isn't in any way a diss to Manny, although most will see it that way.

I think if age doesn't catch up to him finally, Floyd has the length and counter ability to slow Manny down considerably. I expect Manny to keep fighting and not give up like so many of Floyd's opponents have.

But I do expect a good fight, even if the scorecards end up lopsided. Manny is too good for it not to be.

wrong floyd..this fight DOES define your career .. pacquiao is already a legend, but floyd has more to prove because he calls himself better than ali..

you cant possibly be "tbe" if you're not even the best fighter in your weight class.

manny can lose and still be alright because hes not boasting that hes the greatest. .but if floyd loses, his whole career gets flushed down the toilet. .and he will only be remembered for losing to pacman

Ali and Floyd cannot be compared.. it's like comparing Chris Brown to Michael Jackson.

Ali's greatness was proven by facing straight killers in their prime. Floyd faced no killers, just media hyped subpar opponents.

I look at his resume.. the only killer i see is Corrales.. Floyd has played it safe his whole career, and that i give him credit for, he marketed himself brilliantly.

But in term of being the best ever, FLoyd will not even crack the top ten.

Ali is the greatest. That will never change.

This is true. Highest I heard Mayweather ranked is top 50 (I think 48th) by respective media outlets.

The thread in my sig -the ring has him 12th since WWII. I think a win elevates him. I have never suggested he was better than Ali.

As for his comp-undefeated including 24-0 in title fights says something. If it was that easy-everyone would have done it. Does it make him the best-not to me.

Not fighting Floyd has made pros like Margs and Pwill much better than they actually were. That's how good Floyd is.

I remind you that post 2007-Floyd has been in control. prior to that he wasn't. The ODH's, Kosta's, Shanes all found a reason not to fight him. ODH welcomed moving Manny up from 135 to 147 for a fight-he was scared ****less to do same with Floyd.

Too many posters act like this is prime Floyd. Its far from it.

You can have whatever great fighter you wish-p4p in his prime Floyd will hang with ANY OF THEM!
