I've always hated Larry merchant...I miss Emmanuel stewart...I think he was pretty awesome

why do you hate larry merchant? he was one of the best, most articulate and most intelligent men in boxing. what did you not like about him? you say he was boring, what was so boring?

mauro is the worst. It's hard for me to focus and even enjoy a showtime fight when he's on. You might as well have Tony Schivone call the fight.

Worst:
Mauro, Ray Leonard, Albert (Malianaggi is transparently bias towards defensive fighters, or people who have his fighting style)

Best:
Lampley, Roy (for the entertainment factor and his "oooooooh! He's not getting up Jim" alone), and Merchant for his senile and drunken pontifications and musings

George Foreman, Teddy Atlas and Larry Merchant. I going to a friends house to watch the fight, if those guys were calling it I would have gotten it myself just to watch it on mute.

Al Michaels and Sugar Ray Leonard are a close second, they need new announcers on PBC badly. Those guys are awful.

I think Paulie is the best Showtime commentator by a distance. He seems to be the only one who can go into it with any sort of depth.

Paulie is good at times but when went at Pacquio and was nut hugging Floyd it went south for me..I liked Tarver better but Paulie when is neutral is very good
