I'm not talking about just in America but overall in terms of excitement because Wilder is fun to watch and he goes for knockouts where as Wlad holds, holds, and holds. Do you think it will revive boxing all around the world where we have a guy that goes for KOs all the time like Wilder? Let's be real, causals especially are all about the knockouts.

I think because Wilder is American it would be best for the sport. IDK if it will happen though, would love to see that fight.

It would definitely help the American demographic no doubt.

Wilder is going for knockouts and is confident because he hasn't been caught on that chin of his yet. Young Wlad was exactly the same - always going for the KO, almost reckless, a lot of hype, being made out to be the next 'champ' etc.

Actually, the situation we find ourselves in bears striking resemblance to the early 2000s, when Lennox was 'the champ' and Wlad was a title holder who was bigged up as the heir to the throne. Similarly, Wilder is just 1 big loss away from suddenly becoming very boring in my opinion. It could be the same as Wlad's story - an exciting destroyer till he will have to make changes for the sake of his career.

Following that narrative, will a young but unheralded contender drag the ageing champ into deep waters and almost win but just miss out? Maybe Tyson Fury could be that man like Vitali was, but I doubt it as Wlad is still focused and Fury isn't as good or even near what Vitali was around 2003.

Klitschko could have been a big star had he not held so damn much. imagine GGG at heavyweight doing what he's doing at middleweight. He would be the biggest star in boxing. And he's a Eastern European.

I think wlad v wilder will be the next biggest fight in the world. Wilder winning would give the division a huge shake up obviously, but it would actually strip the division of its most talented fighter.

I think it would start a belt merry go round. Wilder isn't good enough to hold a belt for a long time against the best.

Wilder always has a chance to win by KO problem is his only weapon is a straight right hand, he could KO Wlad and lose a decision to some scrub the next day. Would shape up the HWs though.

It is the best possible outcome for the sport itself. Nothing can top it. It would revive heavyweight boxing.
