Garcia should try to make 140, he looked undersized against Peterson and got bullied in the second half of the fight. Peterson wasn't even a full welterweight.

It's Haymon v GBP meaning the fight is unlikely to happen, he might fight Postol and then Haymon would win a purse bid for the Matthysse fight. I don't think Matthysse crosses networks if that happens, just as Kovalev didn't.

Really though, Garcia should just vacate the WBC and fight for the WBA against Broner.

I doubt Garcia fights Postol, I doubt even more he fights Postol at 140, and there is no chance he sticks around for a rematch against Matthysse. There's literally no upside to it.

No chance Danny fights either guy. You could make the case that Danny should of lost 2 of his last 3 fights. Herrera got robbed and many feel Peterson did as well. The 3rd fight in there was a disgraceful mismatch against a non ranked little man. He hasn't been able to make 140 or defend his title in over a year. But he's too much of a beyotch to just move up to 147 where he belongs and fight those guys. He will vacate his belt and move to 147 and fight some no named bum or force some smaller 140 fighter to move up in weight to fight him. I don't see him giving a rematch to Herrera or Mattyhyse and if he does give Peterson a rematch it won't be till later on. Danny's stock has fallen big time and Haymon won't risk him getting embarrassed by Peterson again. It's sad because 2 years ago I was actually a fan of Danny but at some point he will have to fight somebody good at 147 that will destroy him or his luck with the judges will wear out against these 140 guys.

The Lucas in the Garcia fight was a different Lucas to every other fight, don't know what happened but he became power and was looking for the big shot abandoning combinations. If he fights like he fought Provodnikov,Danny is getting whooped.

Danny will neutralize that shyt keeping Lucas in check with timing and power. Styles make fights...
