The Lucas in the Garcia fight was a different Lucas to every other fight, don't know what happened but he became power and was looking for the big shot abandoning combinations. If he fights like he fought Provodnikov,Danny is getting whooped.

Yeah I think he fell a little too in love with his power going into that fight. He was like a hitter in baseball who was only looking for the homerun.

If it comes it comes. But you can't force it and abandon other facets of your game.

I think Lucas would have a much different game plan if a rematch was ever to present itself.

Garcia beats Postol and they will call him a bum. He beats Lucas again and they will be another million excuses.

Danny can't compete at 147 so if he can squeeze back down to 140 he should take on these matches

The reason its actually a good thing that the WBC is making Matthysse mandatory for Garcia is because Garcia doesn't give ANYONE a rematch , even the opponents whom he eked a win against , ie Petterson , Mauricio . So , its kinda due comeuppance that he now has to face the guy who's probably the most dangerous opponent of all his last few , even though he beat him most decisively .
