The biggest MMA fight that should have been made, never happened (Fedor v Brock). And you are under the assumption that Golden Boy and Top Rank and everybody else are going to go broke, die out, leave boxing and everybody goes to PBC because there is no choice. That will never happen. Nobody will lie down for anybody.
Is it even a good model for the fighters, themselves? Look how underpaid UFC fighters are compared to boxers. And notice how WWE, being the only big league, hurts their own product by taking out the competition, and another platform for wrestlers to earn a living.
In a perfect fantasy, of course all fighters under one banner would be great for the sport. But this is reality. And in reality, this can cause as much problems as the Top Rank/Golden Boy cold war did.
It takes years for a monoply to gain strength...
When wwe took over wrestling, they had a bunch of competitions with their own stars.. Same thing when zuffa took over Ufc... Fedor and brock/couture would have been huge money, just like ric flair vs hogan in 80s wrestling.. But eventually a monoply takes hold and actually becomes a monoply.. There isn't a true superfight to make with a guy outside ufc and someone in ufc.. All the best guys are in the same spot.. It will take years but if haymon can succeed then in 2025 there will be no superfights that can't get made in each division.
The way I see it..
Top rank will be like wcw or pride.. They will stay strong the longest and be the biggest rival
Gbp and main events, don King, etc will get crushed and forced out or regulated to the minor leagues like AWA, WCCW, King of the cage, elite xc, etc
As for the pay issue, haymon pays very good, probably the best in boxing, that's his competitive advantage and why fighters flock to him.. Even if he pays the same as arum or duva, haymon takes only 15% while the others charge like 25%.. UFC is basically gangsters who only kick back like 10-15% of revenue to the fighters.. Haymon will probably take a cue from nfl, NBA, wwe and pay very well to retain control of the fighter pool... The talent goes where the most money can be made, and haymon knows this and pays his guys very well, even for smaller fights and that's why fighters are flocking to him
Let him be, if he wants to pretend to be a spiritual pseudo-accountant for strangers, it's his lookout.
U never been to a boxing gym tho!! Have you ??? Your a Typical public relation employee posting B.u.L.L$.H.I.T about a sport you never engaged in!! There is a reason there is no fantasy boxing!! "peeleft:

I have as it happens, multiple times as a old friend used to compete at a national level. That's not the point though, I'm a boxing fan just like you who wants to see the best match-ups. If all you're worried about is a fighter's wage what's the point in following the actual sport (rhetorical question).
