Well damn, that's a sick watch!
It's always a good time being on Floyd's good side. Didn't he give Isaiah Thomas from the Celtics a Bentley? He seems like a really good guy to be friends with. I wonder what he got Mickey Bey when he beat Vazquez for his title?
Anyway, if Floyd keeps up the charity work (for good work), he'll draw dozens to his Mayweather Promotions stable. People love gifts, especially fighters.Comment

I don't mind that he makes money, makes no difference to me. However, Top Rank do give their fighters these sort of inducements, I think most promoters do.Originally posted by Gabagoolthey had the homie exploited and used, he went his own way and refused to be a tom now he's earning astronomical figures that makes salty ass dudes like you mad

Here's a piece on how Top Rank first signed (or poached) Mayweather:
But before the Olympic trials in 1996, the two had a falling out when Mayweather informed Hale that he intended to find another manager and, after winning a bronze medal at the Olympics, signed with Bob Arum's Top Rank Boxing.
He said he knew he'd lost Mayweather when the boxer split town before the trials and returned with evidence of having been courted by another promoter.
"Floyd had a bunch of new clothes and a wad of cash in his pocket," Hale said. "He told me that (another promoter) gave it to him."
Top Rank lured Mayweather with a $100,000 signing bonus after the Olympics. Hale sued Mayweather before settling with Top Rank.Comment

because he hates money? 7 million dollars to fight ggg or 3 million to fight fonfara...
badou iced out wrist after the night of his emphatic victory and new world title. A lot of people on here disparage TMT promotions for their stable and how they are promoting "the fight" but maybe if more promoters showed love to the fighters they could get more loyalty.
people point out haymons mistakes with chavez jr but if Top Rank were doing such a good job why did he leave??
maybe more promoters should start rewarding and showing the fighters more love, stop being so negative and try to be positive for once.Comment
