The guy looks like trash. I move and fight way better than he does. He fights like a coked up neanderthal. He sucks. I would beat him the **** down. Let alone pro fighters.Comment

I was an amateur boxer in the army and have been a boxing fan since the days of Floyd Patterson. I am not a trainer but I don't think you need to be a trainer or a great fighter to see when other fighters aren't doing things right. Burley had a good record and beat many good fighters. He also lost 12 fights. Some of the fighters he lost to he beat later but there were a few that he never could beat. I have seen lots of Robinson and La Motta film and also Graziano and Zale film and I think they would all beat Burley although it can never be proven. Burley was indeed a legend so fans of his can be proud. He was never KOed in 98 fights including many fights with very hard punchers so he was indeed a very game and rugged fighter with a great chin.Comment

Two things you notice right away with Burley: He either sets traps or counter punches. And when he goes on the offensive he changes levels and comes forward with every punch. That's impeccable fundamental execution. Also, he is what they call economical with his movement. He moves, enough, what he has too, that way he stays fresh but warm, you don't do a lot of extra movement, and when you move in and out or slip or pivot to shift position you make short effective movements and don't expend too much energy. Really a high level of stuff when you break it down.Comment

I watch burley for that high level stuff...that's why he always reminded me of the toney, mayweather, Whitaker typesComment
